ZOOM Meeting
May 9th 2020
The second Zoom meeting of the year took place on Saturday May 9th. The meeting was hosted by Chuck Whetsel and there were 19 participants. This meeting was an informal exchange with each participant showing turned pieces they wanted to share with the group.  Photo's of their work will be included in the May Newsletter. There was a good deal of discussion about tools, techniques, and finishing.

It was suggested that the club should purchase a Zoom subscription. Not only is this tool valuable during the "social distancing" executive order, but it could also be used at regular meetings allowing members unable to attend a meeting to participate in the meetings and demo's. It was suggested by Jan Bachman that it would be a great tool for members to give tours of their shops. Kris Roberts is going to raise these suggestion for consideration by the board.
